The Dr. Rogers Difference
Our platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies offer our patients a comprehensive approach to help optimize their healing. While we offer a variety of package options for various treatment areas, each tendon package includes:
- PRP injection
- 1 hour post-procedure strengthening session with exercise physiologist
Patients are also offered the option to add-on Microneedling with PRP services with our Signature Medspa for an additional fee on the same day as their joint PRP injection treatment.
What is Platelet Rich Plasma?
Although blood is primarily a liquid (plasma), it also contains other components, including platelets. Within platelets are growth factors that may initiate tissue repair. Growth factors derived from platelets have also been shown to be responsible for bone regeneration, development of new blood vessels and stimulation of the wound healing process. The concentrated platelets in PRP may help optimize the conditions for healing.*
