Primary care provides you with a centralized hub for all of your medical needs. Your primary care physician is responsible for providing you with general health care services, coordinating any specialists you might be seeing, and providing you with a continuity of care that takes a big-picture approach to your well-being.

Dr. Rogers Centers is an internal medicine practice that provides exceptional primary care.

Medical Exam and Counseling
Yearly review of your complete medical history with your Dr. Rogers Centers primary care provider and a thorough physical exam with special emphasis on cardiovascular health and cancer screening. Combining the information from your history and physical examination, your provider will put these results in context for you and provide recommendations for healthy living.

Blood Work Analysis
A comprehensive analysis including blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, complete blood count, urinalysis, high-sensitivity C-reative protein, liver evaluation, fasting insulin level and thyroid hormone complimentary once a year.

Hormone Evaluation
Discuss hormone related symptoms for optimized healthy living after reviewing testosterone, estradiol and progesterone labs.

Skin Cancer Screening
Dr. Rogers Centers will provide a head-to-toe screening for skin cancer and other diseases of the skin.
Then a comprehensive plan will be established for treatment in-office or referral to dermatology if needed.

Regenerative
Dr. Rogers Centers will discuss regenerative options based on lab work, symptoms and exam. The options include platelet rich plasma for sexual enhancement, orthopedic degenerative disease and hair thinning.

What is direct care membership-based medicine?
Dr. Rogers believes adopting the direct care patient model will restore the doctor-patient relationship and change the current culture of medicine from sick care to wellness care.
No longer will Dr. Rogers and staff be the middleman for determining and collecting insurance benefits. We are striving for a transparent and affordable wellness care system.
The direct care model eliminates excessive bureaucracy and allows Dr. Rogers and staff to focus solely on optimizing longevity.
Does Dr. Rogers Centers accept insurance?
Dr. Rogers Centers does accept some traditional insurance plans. The direct primary care membership is designed for patients who are uninsured or out-of network to our practice.
Do I still need health insurance, and what are my options with membership-based medicine?
Yes. Because membership medicine only covers your routine outpatient primary care, we recommend you obtain insurance coverage for hospital- based care and specialist care.
Dr. Rogers Centers is not trying or requesting you to stop your insurance coverage. Dr. Rogers Centers is simply increasing your access to preventative and non-traditional treatment options.
Can I have a visit without becoming a member?
As an introduction to our Direct Primary Care Membership Plan, we are offering a one-time 30 minute clinic consultations for $250 for new patients to the practice.
The consultation is with Dr. Rogers or Dr. Askew. The consultation will explore your medical, wellness optimization and longevity needs.
If you decide to move forward with the Direct Primary Care Membership on the day of your consultation. Then the $250 will be applied to the $1500 yearly membership fee.
Are there any long-term contracts or commitments? What if I decide to cancel?
The membership payment of $1500 is for one calendar year. If you decide to cancel your membership during the first 6 months of care then a refund of $500 will be given.
If you cancel after 6 months there will be no refund.
What will be the doctor’s availability / accessibility?
Our goal is provide acute care within 24 to 48 hours in clinic or through our telemed service during business hours. Emergency medical needs will be directed to providers during normal business hours or after hours emergencies will be triaged through our automated emergency line.
How will I communicate with the doctor and staff?
We have multiple convenient options. You can call the clinic directly, use the electronic medical record portal or text a virtual assistant.
How are labs, imaging and procedures billed in clinic?
All procedures preformed in clinic will have a transparent cost posted for all members. The procedures preformed will be discounted for members. Some procedures are complimentary with your membership. Dr. Rogers Centers will recommend and consider the most cost effective imaging and procedural centers.
If you have insurance you will be able to use your insurance as needed for labs, specialist and procedures outside of the clinic.
What happens if I need a specialist?
We have established a referral coordinator for all membership patients. She will assist with coordinating your care with the specialist.
You can use your personal insurance for speciality visits.
What happens if I go to the hospital?
Dr. Rogers Centers has a close relationship with hospitalist at both Stone Oak Methodist and Main Methodist. We will recommend the Methodist hospital system for admissions.
If you are admitted please designate Dr. Rogers or Dr. Askew as your primary care provider. This will allow Dr. Rogers Centers to monitor and follow your hospital course.
We will strive to see you within 48 -72 hours of hospital discharge pending notification of your admission.
Are you a walk-in clinic?
We are not a walk-in clinic. We require an appoinment and will assist during business hours to work within your schedule and medical need.
Do you make home visits?
We do not, but we offer telemedicine visit for your convenience.
Does Dr. Rogers Centers treat chronic pain, ADD and depression and anxiety?
Yes, we do treat all of the above medical conditions from a primary care stand point with some exceptions. Examples of exceptions would be: the need for multiple drugs and/or
higher doses then normally recommended.

Before, signing up for a membership if your suffer with any of the above disorders Dr. Rogers would suggest an initial consultation visit for $250 due at the time of the visit.
During this visit, Dr. Rogers can discuss if your medical needs are within our scope of care.

Our goal is to assure every member recieves the time needed for thoughtful care with access to new procedures and testing to enhance and promote well-being and longetivity.

Does Dr. Rogers Centers accept insurance?
Dr. Rogers does accept traditional insurance plans. Your insurance does not cover the membership fee.
Dr. Rogers Centers will bill your insurance and collect co-pays, deductibles and co-insurances per your insurance contract.

If you join our membership the day of the consultation, then DRC will apply the $250 towards the membership cost.
